Hockey with Angie on Myspace

Since I seem to be getting a few questions quite often, I thought it would be easier to address them here rather than individually.

Yes, I am really a real person! I am Angie and I really do adore sports, mainly hockey and football. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and despite the notoriety of the city, I adore my roots there. I did play hockey growing up, but transitioned to writing about the sport in college.

I'm not on Facebook and try to keep my cell number private, but you're welcome to send me a message if you want to chat.

I try to attend as many sporting events as I can, hence the photos of the New England Patriots, my second love, and other hockey games. I am fortunate that my profession allows me to attend many events, which makes my "job" not really feel like work at all.

We may not know each other outside of Myspace, but I'm a Myspace curator for hockey, hence the name "Hockey with Angie" and the multitude of friends. I will be providing hockey news all week long, from the biggest plays in the NHL to the funny stuff and other goodies. If you see something that I should feature, send it along!

Hockey's the best sport, sometimes I wish I lived in Canada because everyone just likes Football! IT DRIVES ME NUTS! And don't even get me started on Basketball, boooooo!
