DUKE ELLINGTON disait : "Il n'existe que deux sortes de musique : la bonne et la mauvaise." ( Les mauvaises langues diront qu'elles ne savent pas où placer la notre ;0) )... Doit-on détester Metallica pour aimer Mozart? Peut-on aimer aussi bien Louis Armstrong que Carl Craig? Faut-il faire un choix entre Steve Vai et Wes Montgomery?.. Le plus important après tout n'est-ce pas la passion et la générosité que l'on met dans la musique?.. Ouvrons nos oreilles, nos coeurs et nos esprits et ... écoutons!.. Comment se fait-il que la musique d'Edgar Varèse qui a près d'un siècle semble encore inabordable et avant-gardiste pour beaucoup aujourd'hui?.. La richesse et la variété de la musique disponible si facilement en ce début de XXIème siècle n'ont pas de limite. C'est une aubaine pour nos générations... écoutons donc avec respect les anciens mais n'oublions pas de tendre une oreille attentive aux nouveaux! NHG likes any style of music!
