BROOKLYN TRIO HEADING INTO THE STUDIO TO RECORD NEW ALBUM FOR FALL RELEASE
Brooklyn's
own Nada Surf are excited to announce the "The Moon Is Calling" limited
edition 7-inch, which will be released to celebrate the 4th annual
Record Store Day on April 16th, 2011. Containing two previously
unreleased demos, it is certain to be a highlight amongst the many
must-have items loyal record store shoppers will purchase on this year's
Record Store Day.

The
trio, comprised of singer-guitarist Matthew Caws, bassist Daniel Lorca
and drummer Ira Elliot, are also excited to announce that they will be
entering the studio this month to record their sixth full-length album
for release later this fall on Barsuk Records. For
the first time, the band will give fans a unique look into the making of
the new album by streaming video of themselves in the studio recording
during various points of the creative process. Fans
are encouraged to follow both the Nada Surf Facebook and Twitter
accounts below, as well as the band's website, where the band will
announce the dates and times that they will be streaming video live from
the studio.
