Montagpress.co.uk is based on the simple premise of saying whatever the fuck we want regardless of how stupid and ill-informed it is because there's absolutely nothing that makes our opinion any more or less valid then yours, Metal Hammer's or any one else in the world... If you don't even care about whatever shitty little emo band we're reviewing you can at least giggle at the toilet humour... We cover anything loud and passionate with an emphasis on the bastard offspring of hardcore. I think the fact that most 'zines are run by drooling sycophants or ranging meglomaniacs has been a fairly motivating factor, that and an urge to get rid of the amaturish connotations associated with the online music press.
