    Live within the Western Great Basin, North America. Nice and quiet and really cool. Wish I lived in the Sierra Nevada, working my way back. Love to do live music and to have people listen to my music. I add People so that I can perhaps make a friend, and hope my friend will hear my songs and check me out. I am single, so sometimes I just take a chance and see if some fine lady will pick me out. Sort of like that Bob Dylan song, "We sat together in the park". You really want to know me, leave me a number and I might call. : ) Not the sort who does the internet thing, just to impersonal but I try. I like anthropology, archaeology, music from all era's. - through space and time. As an anthropologist I try error on the side of good. Otherwise, I am just like anyone else anywhere, good is bad and bad is good is interesting to me. So is culture and freedom to express it, it is what makes People interesting and complex. Each individual is unique and that is what I like. My music is important to me, I know I AM GOOD ENOUGH. But bending someone's arm is not my style. I play a lot for free, and wish I got paid for it, I paid my dues like BB King said, and know with the right break I can make it anywhere I want to go!

    Mel solo mainly, sometimes get to jam with others but I know I can sing for my supper : ) Meaning, if you can play on the street, or get invited to play with others and the CROWD Loves ya, for me, it means I am awesome and have the MUSIC in ME. : ) So, my music here has not had the opportunity to be refined, I lack the resources and where I live there is very little hope or promise to further my work. Very hard to find some Beatles to play with or some Stones, just no one like that where I live. So, I am going to take opff in my truck when it gets warm and do the busk thing, doing my best to get paying gigs. I love music and right now archaeology is on the back-burner, where it always was. I became an archaeologist to make money to play music. It burned in my heart and soul all my life and right now, that is MY LOVE and MUSIC is MY LIFE, it keeps me alive. I am not the type to steal from my Native Heritage although my songs are coded for tradition and are very traditional. They are also traditional rock-in-roll, some rockitroll. For me rock-n-roll is a term that shares its roots with all modern music. Many Native American, some mixed with African Americans developed the blues. I am their grandson, little brother, cousin in my mind.

    It is with great pleasure to announce the release of my new acoustic album "This Is Home" which is now in selected digital and itunes stores in Belgium, Germany, UK, Canada, USA and Mexico. The main themes of "This Is Home" is of love found, love lost, past and pressent relationships. Have been said that there are a few songs that are reminiscent of my childhood which I hope my boys will be able to see through my eyes.
     What makes this album different from it's predecessors is that my guitar and voice were recorded simultaneously and by doing so this enabled us to keep the recordings spontaneous and intimate. Here is the first videoclip from the album. I hope you'll enjoy it and please do share it.
