    Hi I'm Mel, and this is my bass player page. .. .. I've been influenced by many great players from the 70's / 80's, and been fortuanate enough to play with some very cool folks.....some very well known and some just amazingly talented! .. .. My first professional gig was around the age of 16 in the motherland of northern England, playing with local rock acts and cover bands until the move to London around 89/90, to take on bass duties with the legend of Paul Dianno and touring Europe for my first time with a name artist. From there on the list grew and over the coming years I would find myself working with many other former members of bands such as Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Asia, Def Leppard, Georgia Satellites, MSG, Fastway. .. .. I was invited to perform or record with such folks as Fast Eddie Clark, Clive Burr, John Payne, Pete Willis, Dan Baird, Lee Hart, Andy Nye, not to forget the aforementioned Mr Dianno. Quite some time over recent years was also spent writing/recording/touring with Tracie Hunter, and the outrageously talented Paul Rose. .. .. I've appeared on various album releases and played on stages all over Europe from club to festival, and also made a few appearances in Eastern Europe, and the USA. .. .. Currently I'm playing a few shows with Pete Brown, guesting with a couple of London cover bands, and producing music at my studio. Looking forward to some new releases with a brand new project soon. .. .. I founded the Nationmusic company and we have a great recording studio in central London. We have some excellent new bands and a couple of well known acts passing through our doors making some great new music. .. ..
