Masahico Shimaji

Bio:

東京在住のミュージシャン。ベーシスト、コンポーザー、インプロバイザーであり、同時にグラフィックアーティスト、webデザイナーとしても活動している。
現在は、ZENIGEVA等のギタリスト・タバタミツル率いるアシッドジャムロックバンド・Leningrad Blues Machineに、2002年より参加、ライブ活動を続けている。

過去にはJUGEM（w/Kelly Churko-g, Sachi-A-ds)、Beef Snob(w/Cal Lyal-g,vo, Sachi-A-ds)などのバンドでも活動。また、フリーインプロビゼーションのセッションも行っている。

最近はDTMでの作品作りに取り組み、作曲、アレンジ、ベース演奏に加え、自身のボーカルフィーチャーや、ゲストシンガーらとのコラボレーションも行っている。

Masahico Shimaji is Tokyo based musician, bassist, composer, and improviser. Also, graphic artist and web designer.
Currently he is playing in Leningrad Blues Machine, an acid jam rock band, which ZENI-GEVA's guitarist Tabata founded, since 2002.
Formerly he was playing in JUGEM, as a leader, with Kelly Churko, Sachi-A, and many guest improvisers.
Also he played in an avan-funk-rock band called Beef Snob with Cal Lyal and Sachi-A.
He sometimes plays free improvisation music, having a session with other musicians.

Recentry he creates his original tracks with PC, composing, arrangement, bass playing, and singing on some songs, almost all by himself.
