ALIAS GUITAR:"THE FOUR SEASONS"-IS MY THE NEW PROJECT
"I am fond of music a little less than the third part of a century, I mean all my life;) I began to compose music, when I was very small, four or five years old. And it was very ordinary thing to me, I mean to compose, like to go for a walk. As a proffessional classical guitarist I play, the acoustic guitar, but I play the piano and the violin as well.
For several years I had been productively worked as a classical/acoustic guitar teacher in a local music school before I became a performer
I write classical music for the piano and/or the guitar - like as suite for piano "Nostalgia -Dreams of Marco Polo" (2008) with two vocal performances, piano suite "The World"(2003) and "The New Century Suite"(1999-2000) and early piano works. Oh, yes, I like programme music ;-)
The most up-to-date pieces for classical guitar written by myself are "Recuerdos De Amor","Spanish Capriccio" from "The Four Seasons: Classical Winter (instrumental)" and "Romantic (instrumental)"
But as singer, I am fond of singing as well, so it is not surprise that I decided to write some songs.There is a huge number of songs composed by myself for this new project "The Four Seasons". And a special grateful thanks to all involved,and to my family, of course."

ABOUT THE PROJECT ’’THE FOUR SEASONS ” BY ALIA

”THE FOUR SEASONS” is the newly created project by my own.

As obviously, the name ’’ THE FOUR SEASONS ” means the four seasons of the year :-).
My project spans Spanish ,Celtic ,French influences, sometimes in contemporary light, and follows paths of inspiration from Britain Isles, Spain to France.
Most of these songs are written by myself , I mean music. But ,alas , not all of them are in free access now, frankly speaking, almost all of them are not in a free access, even on this one of my official site ( too beautiful in my humble opinion ;-)
But there are too much beautiful songs or just music such as very old marine ballads, some anonym poems, legends, traditional songs, flamenco, Latin ballads and of course my solo guitar music in this my own fame project ”THE FOUR SEASONS”".

’’ CLASSICAL WINTER (instrumental)”


It’s a classical instrumental only.

As a classical guitarist, I just like to play it (long cold winters :-)
There are some beautiful themes composed by my own in this the fourth part of my project.
Such as ” RECUERDOS DE AMOR ”,” SPANISH CAPRICCIO” , ” ROMANTIC NOCTURNE” and ” FLAMENCO PARADISE”. You may listen to my performance of the famous composers’ pieces too.



’’ THE SPRINGTIME JOURNEY AROUND THE BRITAIN ISLES”


- is the first part of my project.

It contains twelve songs in English language and also bonus tracks.

The song ” You away ” is my musical setting of the famed sonnet by William Shakespeare.

What can I say about song ” Because my love loves me” ?
It’s a really very old marine ballad, perhaps the most beautiful romantic song that I have ever composed according to early Celtic influences in contemporary light and adapted the lyrics of unknown ancient author.
Included are musical settings of poems by Emily Gane Bronte ”True to myself” and other poets.

At last, but not at least - ”The Pilgrim” is my favourite original the theme-song from my own the soundtrack suite ”Nostalgia-Dreams of Marco Polo” .There are no MP3 versions for these songs composed by my own.
But, You will find some versions such as: ”Returning home” versions composed by A.Borodine and includes very known song ”Greensleaves” and one more song ” I love not where I live”. It also features a favourite musical setting of Lord Byron’s famous lyrics ”So we’ll go no more a roving” composed by myself.


’’ SPANISH SUMMER”


- is the second part of this project.

As the first part, it has twelve songs too, but almost in Spanish language.
’’ SPANISH SUMMER” means my feeling of several different styles of Spanish music such as flamenco, Latino, traditional style, ballads and simultaneously my own music too. THE NEW SONG -”Flamenco song ” my favourite guitar piece.
There is no MP3 versions for some the best songs, such as ”Mi alma” , ”Al recordar tu nombre”, ”You belong to my heart”and esspecially my hit ”Amor” . ”Allegria ”, as You may see from the titles are Flamenco styles songs.
”El dia ” is interesting song for me in reason of double lead guitars, that I played by myself.
And additionaly,”La guitarra ” is my own musical setting of the famed poem by Federico Garcia Lorca.

’’ AUTUMN IN FRANCE”


-is the third part of the’’ THE FOUR SEASONS ” project.

Just like in other parts it has twelve songs and bonus track. As you can guess all of these songs are in French language.
It includes French version of the original theme-songs ”The Pilgrim” and ”Shants du David” from the soundtrack-suite ”NOSTALGIA-DREAMS OF MARCO POLO” composed by my own. By the way, these vocalized themes are the only in that suite, other parts are written for piano.
A very interesting song is ’’Le cortege du Graal” written by Chretien de Troyes in 1181 A.C..I’ve tried to remain simplicity and beauty of songs that century in arrangement. See what happens.
”Carbonier” is a very beautiful Languedoc traditional song too, frankly speaking. But I like ”Les tristes noces”,”Je regrette,nom de nom” also as well.
”Plaisir d’amour” is my arrangement of the famed song.
