7th Feb 2010
presents live LEKIDDO - Lord of The Lobsters! performing for Haiti benefit and Sky TV this Sunday
147 Kentish Town Road
London, NW1 8PB
Onstage Time: 7pm
So – if you can’t make it you may well know someone who can – it is going to be a blast and for a really good cause. Pass on the message to anyone who might want to be there. There will other bands throughout the evening
For the filming it would be really great to have lots of lovely people to make some noise for LEKIDDO - Lord of The Lobsters! and to join in with the Pinchy Pinchy kiss kiss movement.
If you haven’t seen it before here’s what others say about it:
At last year’s Offset festival they said:
… boy, what a finale he gave us. After teaching the audience some beautiful dance moves to use during the chorus, he launched into a song about beaches, cocktails and, of course, disco. There was something so radiant and modest about Lekiddo that made me want to get the dance just right and make him happy. As I turned round, I saw the whole tent doing the movements and gazing at him in the same way that I must have been. During the applause he looked bashful and flattered which made me like him even more. Lekiddo – you are something special. Pinchy Pinchy kiss kiss!
…he seemed as happy as a man who could shit gold coins - maybe because some of the puzzled looks had turned into genuine glee, and there were soon outbreaks of lobster dancing everywhere.
The fans at Popart agree:
…pretty much our new favourite person in the world. The future of music, the past of music, the present of music. The best live act you’ll see, ever.
The Flowerpot is at..147 Kentish Town Road.., ..London.., ..NW1 8PB.. – a really friendly venue, entrance is free but be prepared to put money in the buckets to help the people of Haiti.
...Another Flowerpot chance to continue the Lobster dance :-D
