The Siege Cats

.. .. .. .. .. For decades, most people around the World that have heard of Area 51 believed that it was a military base established for secret aircraft development and U.F.O. research. That was just a cover story to deceive people from finding out what the real purpose of the base was. Actually, Area 51 was built as a facility for weaponized animal research and development.



After successfully deterring the press and general public about it's actual operations a lone scientist was commissioned to begin research on making animals into effective weapons to use against the military forces across the World. A team was assembled for the scientist to work with and the Weaponized Animal Division (W.A.D.) at Area 51 was created. At first the team basically just dropped animals out of bombers onto its enemies. This didn't seem to work very well because the animals refused to pull their rip cords and basically became small bombs that wouldn't effectively explode once they hit the ground. This only served to anger their enemies without slowing them down.



The next step was to fire animals out of large cannons, this also was deemed ineffective by the W.A.D. and was abandoned. Finally as technology evolved and DNA coding was discovered the scientist and his team found a way to introduce certain proteins into the animals while they were in an embryonic state that would cause certain changes in both the DNA and the behavior of the animals.



After years of testing and re-testing several different types of DNA alterations the W.A.D. finally came up with a systematic process to make the animals both intelligent and enhance their physical strength. At this point the Siege Cats were developed.



Now the W.A.D. had finally found a successful way to develop weaponized animals that could be self reliant in the field, use radios to report back to base any information they found and even attack enemy installments without even being detected. Most enemy bases would take the animals in and feed them as they gathered important information about the size of the enemy forces, available weapons and technology and any top secret information that the military could use to launch successful campaigns against their enemies. Funding was increased for the W.A.D. and the team that worked for the lone scientist became very wealthy, but they could never tell anyone what they knew. Not even their closest family members. This bothered the scientist that had worked so hard to create such perfect weapons. He couldn't even take credit for his brilliant efforts and successes.



One day the scientist went to work. It was a day like any other day but on this day while doing some paperwork he heard one of the Siege Cats singing in his cage. He went to see what was going on and asked the Siege Cat how he learned to sing so badly. The cat replied "You made us very smart and some of us like to play music and sing". The scientist knew that it was better than fighting enemies and had an idea of how he could escape the W.A.D. and give his siege cats a new life doing what they loved to do best. The scientist also knew that he could capitalize on their talents and make enough money to take care of his lovely Siege Cats and stay one step ahead of the W.A.D., because he knew if they did indeed get away that the W.A.D. would be in hot pursuit until they recovered what they considered to be the perfect weapons. The scientist didn't want to fight and neither did the Siege Cats so they agreed to escape the W.A.D. and start a new life as a metal band making music for all of their soon to be fans.



Now the Siege Cats support the A.S.P.C.A, the Humane Society and several other "good guys" as they play their music and basically give people good feelings.

Leecipher-Vocals

A superb Commanding Officer with leadership skills that rival the best of the beasts, but when it comes to singing, the Siege Cats would rather hear nails on a chalkboard. No one has been brave enough to tell him so everyone just puts up with his horrible vocals.


Chrispy-Guitar

Chrispy is the Science Officer and has honed his skills after the likes of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Van Halen and Dimebag Darrel. He can chop heads with the best and never turns down a challenge. Fearless tecnique and surgical precision are his best attributes. Lead guitar and supporting rythms are his bread and butter.


Blade-Guitar

Blade is the Reconnaissance Officer. This insane predator stalks his riffs before completely dominating them. With a nick name like "The Drill Sergent" it's easy to see why he is in charge of the rythm and supporting leads. He has been known to get quite snarky with an axe.


Lestat-Cello

Lestat is the Logistics Officer of the group. Known for his horrible scratching on the Cello, this cat can make unholy sounds from hell. Lestat never comes out during the day and is always drinking some kind of V-8 looking cocktail. Lestat has a very unusual accent and is always trying to bite fans for seemingly no reason.


Jazz-Keyboards

Jazz is the Battle Tactics and Management Officer of the group. Known for his abundant skill on the keys this cat-nip laced feline can make fans cry with his sweet melodies. Jazz prefers to keep a low profile because the females would mob him otherwise. Don't let his handsome looks and strong jawline fool you, he is a natural born lover.


Delpa-Bass

Delpa is the Weapons Officer. Throwing the low into each song makes Delpa happy. He likes to fashion his riffs carefully. Walking, slapping or just riding the bass are his strong points and he does so masterfully as he is the glue for the band and the music.


Danimal-Drums

Danimal is the Medical Officer. At first glance Danimal might seem a little twitchy but his perfect timing and precision makes drum machines go home and practice. He developed the "purr" tecnique for the double bass drums and his speed pleases the Gods of metal. He has never been seen without a pair of sticks and worn paw pads. Drum heads and cymbels alike fear him.
