    lax-o-mat are 2 open minded guys that want to produce electronic music they like to hear but exists rarely or not at all. So they put their multiple influences together (elektro, rock, drum&bass, techno, industrial, dancehall, ...) and create experimental beats with special sounds, that groove as hell. To describe this style is not easy, because sometimes it changes within just one song but absolutely over all tracks. lax-o-mat comes from Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz), Germany. .. .. lax-o-mat besteht aus zwei Leuten... .. Yakumo, der aus der Oldschool-Electro-Szene stammt, danach zum Dancehall überlief (12monkey*sound).Seitdem bastelte er mit frühen Logic-Versionen herum und sammelte auch Erfahrung in Aufnahme, Verarbeitung, Abmischung von Stimmen und Bands... .. Keimling kommt aus dem Tracker-Bereich, als aus wohlklingenden 8-Bit Mono-Samples ein Song entstehen sollte. Er liebte schon immer Musik, wobei er sich auf keine Musikrichtung festlegen will... Wenn ein Track gut ist, kann es von Schlager bis Hardcore alles sein. Gelegentlich spielt er auch Gitarre... .. Neben Riddims aller Art produziert lax-o-mat auch unspezifizierbare Genre-Mixe in Anlehnung an Aphex Twin, Funkstörung oder Prodigy, da der gemeinsame Nenner eher das Elektronische ist...
