Music and lyrics. The foundation of any celebrated musical group consists of well-arranged compositions and reflective expressions.

Kelly Hart composes and sings original pop rock sounds that guide listeners on a contemplative journey of untainted love, heartache, growth and resolve. Kelly Boyce and Evan Hart, the group’s founding members, have been performing for nine years collectively.

The band has built up a grass-roots audience playing at local and regional venues. The band recorded their debut album “California”, which was released in 2005.

Boyce, the band’s lead vocalist and co-song writer started her career at age fifteen. A highlight of her passion culminated in 2000 while serving in the United States Air Force Boyce performed with Tops in Blue, an all-active duty US Air Force special unit who perform for military personnel and their families throughout the world. In 2002, she teamed up with Hart to form their band Kelly Hart.

Hart, the band’s co-song writer and lead keyboardist is a classically trained pianist. He began developing his art at age nine. In 1996, Hart began perfecting his songwriting skills by collaborating with Leslie Poole. Hart and Poole began recording in Nashville, Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia and after two years, he and Poole separated. Hart then released his solo album – before joining forces with Boyce.

Kelly Hart’s band members include Derek McCoy, guitars; Matt Stallard, bass; Eric Sanders; drums; and Bob Leggett; acoustic guitar. The band has performed at Eddie’s Attic, Smithe’s Olde Bar, Myriad Art Gallery, Virginia Highlands Summerfest, Ellijay Benefit Concert and other locations. Kelly Hart also plays cover songs from artists such as Sugarland, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Kathleen Edwards and others.
