Takashi Tei

自己紹介:

1961年8月8日、中国人の父と日本人の母の間に生まれる。 幼少の頃からレコードプレーヤーやテープレコーダーに興味を持つようになり、父親の持っていた洋楽のレ コードを聴くようになる。 １３歳になるとPopsやDisco music、Rockを聴き始め、オーデ ィオシステムやスピーカーシステムに興味を持つようになりそして１５歳、私はMixing Engineerというものに出会う。
学生時代には、アルバイトでありながらP.A.エンジニアとしてクラブで働いていた。 １９８３年、卒業を機に上京。
Take Oneというスタジオのアシスタントとして私のキャリアはスタートした。 その後SOMEWHERE というスタジオを経て、１９９０年にフリーのレコーディングエンジニアとなる。 ときに力強く、ときに優しく、感情をのせたミキシングをする 事、それが私の信条である。
尊敬するエンジニアは吉野金次氏、Bob Cleamountain、Bruce Swedien、Hugh Padgham、 Simon Cotsworth,Chris Lord-Alge 。
好きなアーティストはBryan Adams、ABC、Weather Report、Return to Forever 、Kiss、Darly Hall & John Oates、Incognite、Huey Lewis、TOTO、　など。

Since 13-year-old, he got to listen to Pops, Disco music and Rock, and at the same time got interested in audio system and speaker system. At the age of 15, knew what is Mixing Engineer and it fascinated him. During his school days, he worked for a club with live music belonging to the club as a P.A. engineer even though that was a part time job for him. In 1983, coming to Tokyo after graduated. He started his career as an assistant engineer at the studio, Take One. Through the work at the studio, SOMEWHERE, got to be free recording engineer in 1990. Sometime powerful, sometime delicate, emotive Mixing. That is his philosophy. As a engineer he respects Bob Clearmountain, Bruce Swedien, Hugh Padgham. His favorite artists are Bryan Adams, ABC, Weather Report, Return To Forever, Kiss, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Incognito. He has this to say. Momo-J, Hajime Hyakkoku, brought me a new view point of the world. He is the person who understand my Mixing well all the time.
