I have been a musician for over 20 years, and a professional engineer and mixer since 2002. I spent most of my twenties performing and recording in rock bands. In 2001 I enrolled at Full Sail University in Orlando and graduated in 2002 as Salutatorian of my class. I relocated to Atlanta, where I interned, assisted and engineered at Tree Sound Studios. My year at Tree taught me a lot about the business and myself. I was fortunate enough to work with such talented professionals as Faith Evans, Ludacris, Keith Sweat, Bubba Sparxx and Daryl Mac of RUN DMC.

In 2003 I was offered a job at Billy Hume's Zone Studios. Within 6 months I moved into the chief engineer position at The Zone. I recorded artists like David Banner, Killer Mike, Anthony Hamilton, Bun B, 8 Ball, Bonecrusher, YoungBloodz, Lloyd, and the list goes on. Between recording sessions I was honing my skills as a mixer working with many independent Atlanta artists. Eventually I started landing major mix jobs, and carved out a market for myself with my unique radio edits. I am often hired to come along behind another mixer and "spice up" their clean mixes. Some of my more recognizable edits include Ying Yang Twins' "Salt Shaker" & "Wait" which I also recorded and mixed, Mr. Magic's "I Smoke I Drank" and Trick Daddy's "Jump on Tha D**k".

I am now a freelance mixer and co-owner of Metronome Studios in Decatur. We opened in April of 2008 and have already worked with artists like Yung Joc, VIC, Gucci Mane, Rocco, Plies, Yung Ralph, Ying Yang Twins, Ray Lavendar, Bow Wow, Young Jeezy, and Mike Jones.
