  • How To Land Tricks

So basically, here are a couple ways I have landed tricks throughout my skating life that I remember.
    1) See yourself landing the trick. Visualize it in your head before you even do it. If you dont see yourself landing it, maybe your not feeling it that day. Do it another time.
    2) Attempt to put your feet in different positions when you do the trick. Move it back, forward or even slanted. Do that til you find a position that works out for you.
    3) Go for the trick a couple times just to get a feel for it. Then fully commit.
    4) Bring your friends with you when you go for something big. It always helps to bring friends with you to do something that scares you.
    5) Aim for the bolts no matter what.
    6) Have confidence in yourself. When you are ready to do the trick, put out your all into it!
    7) Last and definitely most important…Practice! With practice comes perfection. Always practice hard and remember to have fun.
Those are the tips to landing tricks. Think about this next time you wanna land a new trick!

  • The Last Moment

So I remember close to when I first started skating. I was skating a 6 stair and I was working on doing a kickflip down it. I felt pretty confident in it because I had been practicing it on flatground for a while before I started going for it. I had went for it almost all day and I just didnt seem to be getting it. I went for it over and over until I was almost completely out of energy. I remember my little brothers were with me and they were about ready to go. They were the type of kids that would jjust annoy you with asking the same question over and over until they get what they want. So they kept asking me to go home because they were getting bored of doing what they were doing. So me wanting to be fair, I told them that I'll just go for the trick 3 more times and if I dont get it then we will go home. I went for it 2 times and I was just about ready to go myself. So before I just went for the trick, I stopped and took a second to just relax. Falling over and over does make you feel a little stressed and its always a good idea to just take a second to relax. So anyway, after I took that little moment to chill, I went for it and I got it! I was super hyped because I had been going for it the whole day. But the point of that whole story is that sometimes it's all about that last moment. Even when there seems like nothing is going to happen, that last moment my be it. it might be that last moment that makes the difference. Your moment might not always come when you want it, but it's gonna come when it is supposed too. Just hold on til you cant hold on anymore. Put in your all and wait for your moment to come. Wait til the last moment if you have to, cause that might be the moment you need.

  • Hold It Down

There are moments where you just know that you have to put it down for your crew. By that I mean, you have to put in alot of work to make sure you and whoever you are representing gets respect in a certain area. Like, you hear about alot of famous people talking about where they were from and how it helped make them the people who they are today. And some of the top people and holding it down for the people that helped them to become the status they are. When you start doing whatever you do, and you start to get support from people whho become your fans, you feel like you have to do great to make them proud of you. Thats when you want to hold it down for your side and you kinda feel like that is your duty. Thats when you know that you have to work even harder and put in even more effort and love into what you do. I have a couple kids that look up to me, and whenever I have a bad skate day, I feel like I let them down a little. But thats probably just me. I'm really hard on myself when it comes to my skating because I always was taught to put out my best. And when I dont do that, I get pretty upset with myself. But I truly beleive that has made me the skater that I am today. All the people that help me stay skating and help me to keep on doing what I do. Those are the people that I'm working hard for. Going out there skating and holding it down for the people I love in my life! Thanks alot to all my supporters and fans all over the world. Every last one of you are appreciated and I love you all!
