Jackies Audition ending, that the Band told Jackie the Job of their Singer has already someone. It was the Singer John Lawton well known from Bands like Uriah Heep and Ex Singer of a seventy Band callded Les Humphries Singers. Jackie asked the Band to help the Songs Mad house, Shanghai to record for a Single. J. Johanson agreed. At the January 86 moved Jackie into the Recordingstudio "Zuckerfabrik". The Bass played Rolf Kerstin, a Bassplayer from a Singer with the Name Peter Shilling. One Song from the Charts today played is the song „Major Tom, Völlig losgelöst… „ Ralf Stoney at the same time was with Tyran Pace on Tour, which supported Uriah Heep on their 86 Tour through Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Ralf Stoney was the one who persuaded J. Wulf to chance his mind and instead of producing a Single to make a Mini Record. Ralf and Jackie written most of the Songs at Metal Wings. Only Unforgiven was written from the Bassplayer Mick Shirley. The Songs are recorded in Autuum 86 at the Recordingstudio "Synthon Esslingen". The studio belong to the publisher with the label "Sound of Future". Jackie Wulf got an exklusive Recordcontract from his Label. The Label wants a complete Record. Ralf and Jackie again written four numbers. In Ulm the Band try to record the songs during three days. They fail and the songs are not complete when their left the Studio. In Stuttgart their found the next Studio. In this had the Stuttgarts Drummer played who actually played at the Micheael Schenker Group at this time. But when the Band came to record, the doors where closed and the date are canceld. The reason was, that the Studio owners dog died. Replacing this place a Studio at Kornwestheim with the Name Tucan was found. The weekend before the recording started, Jackie and a friend of him walked in a park at Stuttgart, the capital city of Baden Württenberg. Jackie saw a car passing by. The emblem at the car was belonging to the studio he was going to record. At the next crossing the car held and the driver jumped out of the car. He ran towards Jackie. Before he was able to say something Jackie asked him:"Are you the Ralf Meyer our Ton Inch on Monday? Nice to meet you." The guy was perplexed because their never met before. Also he tryed to contact Jackie to postpone the date of the Recordingsystem that broke the day before. Ralf Meyer only just wanted some stranger asking for the way to a concerthall and coincidentally bumped into Jackie. The recording started on tuesday. At the spring 88 at the Studio "Tukan" the Metal Wings Record as we knowing it today is finished. In the Autuum 88 the test Record arrives. The Record itself is worldwide copied five thousend times. The first line up was Vocals Jackie Wulf, Guitars Ralf Stoney, Bass & Second Lead guitar at "Unforgiven" Mick Shirley Drums Mark Hall.

Jackie Wulf One of the importants question in my life no one could anwser me. Where are we and why we are here on earth? This miracle never left me. It is influencing my style of music and keep me going. The best example is the song "Darkness". Here is thís element of silence, when you shure you hear some one whisper. ...but you can't see him, because he walks in between spaces... (mad house) Darkness came about me, an evil touch mem and theres no way out!!! Comes from a darker period of my artistic work, during recording metal wings, Metal wings itself is watching the stars. forty years after the first human entered the moon, we should go up there, may be there are anwsers?
