ITAMAR's new single Step On It will be released on UK based Glasstone Records on 16th of May.
The band have been announced to play a Single Launch gig on the date of release, headlining at the Relentless Garage in London.


 ITAMAR will be shooting a video for their new single, 'Step On It', on 19th and 20th of April.


 ITAMAR will be playing Chagstock Festival in Devon between 22-24th of July alongside bands such as The Magic Numbers, Show of Hands and Bellowhead.


 ITAMAR will be playing Friends Of Mine Festival on Sunday, 22nd of May.
Bands that will play the festival include The Charlatans, The Cribs, Badly Drawn Boy, Bad Lieutenant, Lightning Seeds etc.

 ITAMAR will play The First Days Of Freedom Festival 2011, which is taking place from 15th to 18th of July. More details coming soon.


 ITAMAR's new single Step On It is featured on the 121st episode of the
Best Of Myspace Podcast.
Presenter Gill Mills said the single is "Musuclar, layered and hooky indie piledriver of a track.
A heady mix of Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode and some Morrissey moments."

Itamar started playing guitar at the age of 13, after listening to his father's old Elvis tapes. Itamar was inspired.
He soon began to study music on his own, learning from each new band that came across his way.
He started writing his own songs, under the influences of bands such as Depeche Mode, Suede, Radiohead, The Smiths, Pulp, The Cure and more. ,

Years later, Itamar formed an exciting indie/rock act, which now gigs on the London live music circuit and building a noticeable momentum.

The critically acclaimed band consists of Itamar Starets on vocals and rhythm guitar,
Jon McTait on lead guitar, Simon Juniper on drums, and Pete Ellis on the bass.

In the meanwhile, ITAMAR has had significant airplays with their demo EP Die With Beauty on more than ..50 radio stations across the UK.., including BBC 6 Music (were played twice on the Jon Holmes Saturday afternoon show), Kerrang! Radio, Manx Radio,BRMBand Northern Media Group.
The band was also played on international stations, such as Radio Caroline, Radio Tatras International and Radio Six International.
Their songs have also been featured on the high rotation playlists of many stations; titled as “..Record of the Week..” and more.

ITAMAR was also invited to sessions in many radio stations, including Kerrang! Radio, and Roundhouse (the famous venue’s) Radio.

Itamar, the lead singer, has been compared to Morrissey, Dave Gahan and Jarvis Cocker by radio producers, presenters, music journalists and more; whereas receiving many compliments for his unique sound and versatility of song writing.

The band has just finished recording a debut single, called Step On It, and is getting ready for the recording of their first LP.
