    George Issakidis, formerly of The Micronauts now runs and records for his label The Republic of Desire Recordings. The Micronauts were responsible for killer remixes of Underworld, OMD, Death in Vegas, 16B and The Chemical Brothers and their own "The Jag" single and album "Bleep to Bleep" (Virgin). Since leaving The Micronauts, George has spent the time quietly coding his own custom software for audio/visual live performances and expositions such as INPORT (Estonia), Sketch (London), videA (Barcelona), le Placard (Tokyo) and Ircam (Paris), doing dzir mixes for Passarella Death Squad, The Soft Pink Truth, Colder and Caged Baby as well as collaborating with Speedy J on Mute and Electric Deluxe Presents. His single Explicit/Hotter Now will be released on the 25th of May on The Republic of Desire Recordings. The album will see an autumn release.
