Industrial Souls

Bio:

The beginnings of Industrial Souls were formed by D G at his University, while playing in a variety of bands at school as well as working in College Radio. Keyboards, guitars and drum machines were used to make the first recordings on a 4track. As the years progressed, S M joined this partnership as a singer, artist, muse and spouse. S M's education was in art and it's her creativity that has expanded the soundscapes that make Industrial Souls.

The music here is an offshoot from the ZSCONCEPT family of creative endeavors. The sounds here will be a mix of industrial/electro tunes with instrumentals pieces. We feel that a seperate entity allows up to have a broader and more diverse offering to our listeners. Our focus here will be sonic soundscapes you would hear in films as well a cyber edge that you can hear in clubs. We may also will mix in other genres of music that you would not hear on our ZS Concept sites.

Since this is the keyboard driven site of the ZS Concept sites, we will highlight what we use to make our sounds. Our primary workstations we use are the Korg M3, Yamaha Motif and the Roland Fantom G. Each one of the units have unique sounds and characteristics that the other don't. It's the blending of each machine that brings out the soundscapes we try to craft. Much of we record here is live, with limited programming to capture that human element that is missing in much of the music today.

If you like the sounds here, check out my other sites. On Zs Concept the music is dark metal with doom edge. On ZS Concept 2, the music is more gothic as well as melancholic. Recently added a few more projects here. Creative Expression is a non-music site showing S M's art and D G's photos. Discordant Animosity is a joint collaboration with D G and Cease a gifted guitar player creating some serious metal with a prog / death metal sound. VuurHemel is the newest page that combines the etheral darkness of Zsymphonic to ZS Concept for a dark ambient metal sound. You can find these on my topfriends.
