Guitarist/ComposerIkuru Yamada born in Fukui, Japan.
He started to playing guitar at age of 13. Studied under Shinsuke Tashiro at Yamaha Popular music school. In those days, he was playing mostly Rock music.

He went to New Zealand for one year to study language when he was 17.

Summer of 2000, he joined open Jazz course seminar of Senzoku music collage, started interest in Jazz Music.

Spring of 2001, he entered Jazz course of Senzoku music collage, studied under Jazz guitarest, Toshiki Nunokawa. He also started to performing around Tokyo,Yokohama area aroud this time.

Year of 2005, he graduated top of Jazz course of Senzoku.

After graduation of Senzoku, he took Berklee collage of music world scholarship tour audition, and won the scholarship.

He entered Berklee collage of music from spring semester of 2006.

Stdied after Mick Goodrick, Bret willmott, Tim Miller among others. Also studied composition and music theory after C.Scott. Free.

While studying music in Berklee, he had opportunity of recording and performing and recording with own band.

Year of 2008, he graduated Berklee majoring performance.

December of 2008, he went back to Japan and began to his music career again from 2009, mainly around Tokyo and Yokohama area.

2012, He released first album"Tide of water"
