Ok, so we all decided that we needed to go back in the studio and lay down the stuff we'd written since Metal For Evil Robots. Well we went back to our old buddy MiAH at The Soundlair and the songs on our page are the result. At this point we have no intention of printing this or releasing it, it's just for us and our friends and fans to enjoy. And before everyone asks, no we're not back together. This is just something we wanted to do for ourselves and for you all. Enjoy and we'll catch you on the flip side. -

Guys, first let me say that this is not a message I honestly thought I’d have to write; but, Human Fuse is officially done. After nearly 7 years Ben, Mitch, Joe and myself have decided to call it quits. Call it cliche but we’ll site "creative differences" as the primary reason. By no means does this mean there is any ill will among us. We’ve seen many bands come and go over the course of our "career" in the Knoxville music scene and it really does put things in perspective. By no means are the four of us going to leave the world of music, I’m very confident that you will see us all again. I feel I can speak for the rest of the guys when I say that I feel we’ve had a pretty good ride.
I’ll get a little sentimental for a minute. For me the guys in this band have been my brothers and you fans have been our family. We couldn’t have made it as far as we did or lasted as long as we did without you guys. I personally want to thank all of the bands we’ve shared the stage with and all of the venues we’ve played. A HUGE thanks goes out to Ajen our long-time roadie extraordinaire and to Klint, Andrew, Adam, Brandon, Chris, MiAH and everyone else who’s been a part of our family and helped us over the years.
I’m sure the other guys will chime in when they get a chance but until then, Thanks everyone for your love and support and don’t run with scissors.

Derek in store finals of GC Drumoff!
Ok, well somehow I managed to inch out a win last night in the Drumoff. Let me tell you I have no idea how. The judges must have pulled names from a hat because everyone there was fantastic. I feel completely honored to have made it, let alone won. I want to congratulate the other guys that played last night, you all did a fantastic job.
So, I'm sure you are all wondering when the store finals are. Well I am too so as soon as I remember to call the GC and find out I'll let you know. Until then, peace out like mad yo!
