The Future of Food: http://www.hulu.com/watch/67878/the-future-of-food
these movies will blow your mind about how our food is genetically modified and killing us and causing most of our diseases. The Beautiful Truth is amazing....it goes on to show how only western civilization suffers from cancer, etc. and it's all because of our foods, and chemicals. you won't ever find cavities or cancer in native tribes unless they have been exposed to our foods and chemicals.
How's that for food for thought!
Educate yourselves and your loved ones and make your life a longer & healthier one.

I can't agree more --other cultures are so much healthier ---it makes you afraid to live in America
I (we) totally agree! Can't wait to watch these. We try to eat as little processed foods as possible. We have a garden big enough to sustain our family with everything imaginable. Even hops for our own beer (still perfecting that, but it's fun), fruit and veggies of course, every herb and spice we need (even wasabi nom nom sushi and wheatgrass for those wheatgrass shots). We make our own bread (sometimes from grain w/ the flour mill, sometimes not), pasta, pizza, jams, sauces, every damn thing from the garden. It's good for the environment, saves money, and it's not nearly as hard as it seems.
We're making homemade pizza as I type, and I promise you it's the bombest pizza you can imagine, like you'd pay $20 for a personal pizza at Spago's and it's less that $2 to make enough for all of us.
I just can't believe some of the shit they let into the food supply. I know without a doubt it's not only making us sick, it's making us stupid. Which is kind of worse for the fate of mankind when you think about it.
Still love me some Jack in the Box though. ;) JD keeps saying we need to get some steer or something. I tell him that will go over great with the neighbors here in suburbia, hah.
