West Coast glam rock outfit Holy Ghost Revival were the brainchild of enigmatic frontman Conor Kiley, an unholy cross between Iggy Pop, Axl Rose, and Jim Morrison who has kept a rotating cast of musicians since the group's inception.
Hailing from Bainbridge Isle, WA, the self-described "heavy metal folk rock/pagan glam" band signed with the 1965 label in 2007, releasing its debut, Bleeding Light. The following year, the group -- which at this time consisted of vocalist Kiley, Jean-Paul Garrnier on bass and clarinet, guitarist/keyboardist Sebastion Sheldon, guitarist Johnny O', and drummer Mikko Freeman -- relocated to London and released Twilight Exit, which was produced by Ryan Hadlock (Modest Mouse, Blonde Redhead). ~ James Christopher Monger
