I have had a few heroes in my time. First I can remember as a lad is Darth Vader. He was the biggest bad ass on the planet. Then I moved on to Ryne Sandberg who we all know is one of the biggest bad asses on Earth. Other athletes I have idolized include Andre Dawson, Walter Payton, Michael Jordan, Mark Grace, Bill Wennigton (I play basketball EXACTLY like he did), Robert Parrish, Greg Maddux, Tony Amonte, Tim Brown and Jerry Rice. I also bow down to Martin Scorcese and Robert Deniro, the greatest director/actor team ever. Here is a scene from their best work together: ........> Non athletes, celebrities and people of this earth who I count as heroes are mostly members of my family who have sacrificed a lot to make a great life for me. My grandparents came over from Poland and later England to make a better life for their family. My other grandmother who was the strongest person I knew and had many personality traits I admired. My parents, who sacrifcied some of their hopes and dreams for me and my brother. Who worked and still work hard without complaint. I see a lot of myself in them and finally, I'm mature enough to take that as a compliment. One final person to add to my list would be ANYONE who can take the Cubs to a World Series title or the Blackhawks to a Stanley Cup before I'm too senile to enjoy it. Thank you Jonathan Toews and patrick Kane! You have brought hope to at least ONE of those teams! Oh and speaking of heroes:
