.. .. .. .............. .......... .. .. About 15 years ago, full of alcohol and youthful angst, this band was formed. Changed bass players a few times. Got ripped off a bunch of times. Somehow we survived. Now we are old and decrepit, but we still play rock n roll. The idea of GMFG is a music creation factory - our own, humble, humble version of the Motown "snake pit". We have set no rules, so if one Thursday we happen to be in the mood to try and create a 70's era disco tune, and an 80's California hardcore the next day, we will. These days we seem to have a lot of "Outlaws"-era country-ish stuff, Punk is still there, some Rockabilly, and hints of Soul, usually in a wrapper of melody and pop that we can't seem to shake (not that we want to).
