After six years of planning, we are very excited to finally open our doors in the upcoming weeks. Shamelessplug is about bringing a spotlight to Independent bands and artists around the country. There are so many awesome bands and artists that go unseen and unheard for many different reasons and we want to change that!

★What we do

Shamelessplug is here to help promote Indie artists and bands - all for free. Shamelessplug provides a way for bands and artists to put up their show flyers and let all their fans and friends know where they’ll be playing next. We will do whatever it takes to get millions of visitors to come to our site to see all of these show flyers. Our goal is to have Shamelessplug be the main spot where Indie fans come to search for their favorite musicians and find new music to follow and see live.

★How it works

Shamelessplug is simple. If you’re in a band or you are a solo artist all you’ll need is a show flyer. All you do is upload your flyer, fill out your show info and then submit it. Once it’s approved we’ll send you an email to let you know your flyer is now live on the Shamelessplug site. In that email we will also send you the direct URL to your flyer. Once you get that link, feel free to promote yourself further by sending it out to all your friends to let them know about your show.

★Voting

Voting is completely optional, but it’s a great way to get the fans involved to show their support all for a good cause. Flyers with the most votes in your area will be featured on the Shamelessplug home page. Even if your favorite didn’t make it to number one – don’t worry! The top 10 flyers in your area will also be showcased on the home page. Getting fans involved with voting makes them part of the growth and success of the band or artist.

★Why charge for votes?

We have decided to charge a small fee for each vote because we want each vote to really count. As the artist or band looks at the number of votes their flyer receives, they know a fan took the time to buy a vote. That means a lot more than one person casting countless amounts of free votes. We know what you’re thinking... “Where does all my vote money go?” That’s a good question. 100% of the vote money goes to featured charities chosen by Shamelessplug. Not only are you supporting your favorite music, but you’re donating to a good cause. It’s a Win-Win situation for everyone!
