Fourteendays Profile: Everything began when high school classmates Kimura(Vo/Bass), Takada(Gu/Cho) and Fujito(Drum/Cho) got together and decided to form a band which they later named fourteendays. fourteendays started to play at local venues and recorded their early demos in 2002. Soon their first demo track [Anyway] was picked up by [Fukuoka Freewave 77.7HMZ], a major radio station in Kyusu, and power-played for over a month. They were also voted number one band in Fukuoka at the [Music Freedom], a popular music website for independent bands in Fukuoka area. During this period, Kimura and Takada went to America in order to broaden their musical vision and knowledge. While in America, they met Mock Orange who they had admired musically for a long time. In no time, Kimura and Takada hit it off with Mock Orange, and formed a friendship that was to last until today. In 2005, they contributed a track to the compilation album [New Asians in Kyusyu] which sold thousands of copies in less than two months. With joining of a new guitarist Chisyaki(Gu/Cho), the band grew confident about their sound, and toured across the nation as well as playing monthly gigs at Vivre hall in Fukuoka. In 2008, they signed a record deal with Heroics Records and released their first mini album [SWAN] which was hailed by many music critics and fans as one of the most beautiful and sensational rock albums of 2008. Rockin’ on Japan, the most prestigious rock magazine in Japan praised the album as ‘an extremely addictive album’. The album’s impact to the Japanese rock scene was so profound that forteendays were invited to play at Summer Sonic 08(sonic stage) only four months after the album’s release date. At Summer Sonic 08, fourteendays with supporting DJ, ANI-JHA shared the stage with many world-famous artists such as Paul Wellar and Death Cab for Cutie. In December 2008, the band released their first full-length album 「laboratory」　and toured Japan with Death Cab for Cutie in February 2009.

Ba/Vo.木村、 Gu/Back Vocal 高田、 dr.藤戸　Guitar/Back Vocal 樗木による四人編成のバンド。　２００２年から本格的な活動を開始し、デモＣＤ－Ｒに収録された「Anyway」が福岡Freewave77.7HMZにてヘヴィーローテーションされ、また福岡のインディーズバンド紹介サイト「MUSIC FREEDOM」にて１ヶ月以上人気順位一位を獲得するなど、その名が知れ渡り始まる。　また、アメリカに音楽の修行に出た際、Mock Orangeと出会い、fourteendaysの才能に惚れ込んだMock Orangeとの深い交流が始まる。　２００５年、彼らの曲が収録されたオムニバスアルバム「New Asians In Kyusyu」が２０００枚を越すセールスを記録。　2008年3月に満を持してリリースした初のミニアルバム「SWAN」がシーンで高い評価を得て、アルバムのリリースからわずか4ヶ月、史上最速でサマーソニック２００８のソニックステージに出演を果たし、「Death Cab for Cutie」から大絶賛を受ける。　2008年12月には初のフルアルバム「laboratory」をリリースし、2009年の2月には、「Death Cab for Cutie」の来日ツアーにフロントアクトとして参戦し、同年6月には、the HIATUSの全国ツアーに参戦するなど、今シーンから大きな注目を浴びているバンド。
