Masumi Watanabe, a visitor from Japan, was fatally abducted and murdered on April 12, 2007, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Her body has never been found. Please go to her website at www.findmasumi.org to learn more about Masumi and help find Masumi.
Masumi Watanabe visited Hawaii and loved it so much that she returned to volunteer at a local elementary school. During her daily walk on Oahu’s north shore, she went missing and the search continues for her body.
Masumi Watanabe was a 21 year old visitor from Japan. She was last seen walking down Pupukea road on April 12 2007. Witnesses say they saw a girl matching her description getting into a company work truck. She was never seen again. The truck's operator has been convicted for Masumi's murder on April 14, 2008.
Watanabe's parents have no family in Hawaii and it’s hoped that this website can provide them comfort.
