Bio
Faster Dear Pilot, We're Going Down came together with a goal...to create an extraordinary tapestry of sound. .. ..Our band was a creation in the making, taking several months to get together to form. It wasn't until April of 2007 when we officially came together and begun to intertwine our various musical backgrounds into something much bigger. Our various musical influences have driven us to write in an amalgamation of ambient, sludge, math rock and epic music in general. .. .. ....NEWS.. ..With Gilroy living in New York City, we have been on indefinite hiatus since May 2008. We expect to at least finish recording what we had written before this date and remix the song "Bricks & Mortar" featuring our very good friend Ben Lyons (Are You A Fox?) on lead vocals. We'll try to come together for a real final show/CD release but don't expect it anytime soon. ..Love, ..FDPWGD .. .. ..About these tracks.... .. ..1. And The Clouds Gather Again (5:13) ..Engineered and mixed by Kadie Migliarese at UML spring 2008 .. ..2. The History Of Technology (10:47) ..Engineered and mixed by Kadie Migliarese at UML spring 2008 .. ..3. The Long Wait Above The Horizon (4:30) ..Demo track, fall 2007 .. ..4. The Night Everything Was Lost: I (8:38) ..5. The Night Everything Was Lost: II (10:17) ..First time playing together jam in spring 2007. Mixed by Sean. .. ............ .. .... -
