michael and vicki have both written their blogs and i feel far from being able to put into words what my experience in nashville was like. firstly i would like to thank my husband , blake, for being good the whole time we were there! lol......
i saw that friendship is contagious and that cyber friends can and do evolve . the written word is not dead! and our personalities tend to peel between the lines. every single one of us brought a talent to the whole. all of us gave something of ourselves. and it made us all strong, as if we had known each other for years.
does michael belong in nashville? YES.......... something we cant see in still pics and even videos is his star quality, his ability to put himself out there with honesty - his showmanship and ability to reach out to an audience. michael sounds even better when he sits down with his guitar and just sings. he practiced the anthem with us, no guitar, just his voice. it was hands down the most moving thing i have heard. michael said it himself " there is a stage to sing on everywhere in nashville" and there is.
what we also got to see was a birdseye view of the music industry and what needs to be done to become someone. WOW........ it is not all just about the music. it is a tough business. it is hard work and there are a million things that go into the whole of it all. michael and deidra do most of this by themselves - YIKES!
my pics probably wont be up until thursday. it has been back to work and i have to go to the camera shop to make sure i do this right. computers really arent my thing and i am afraid i will lose the pics without some outside help :(
i can not describe how much fun i had, vicki explains that better than i do :) i am still laughing , still smiling. it was a fantastic trip. a life time of memories. i am so glad that i went!

It is something the internet can bring you so close to people,,yet in a way..and when you can meet them it is a dream come true!! Good for you Sue!!
