Música eletrônica experimental criada a partir de emuladores, e dos próprios chips dos consoles da Nintendo , o projeto Droid-ON teve início em 2008 , Mas passou a infância inteira escutando BGM e FX na tela de 'sound test' dos jogos antigos (sem internet, improvisava) . A partir dos 16 anos começou a se interessar pela música em geral, começando pela guitarra . A performance ao vivo inclui, principalmente, músicas autorais e covers dos grandes clássicos subestimados do videogame, como Ninja Gaiden e Penguin Adventure . Em palco é possível encontrar joysticks, brinquedos antigos, e videogames ultrapassados, além da influência acústica da bateria, a qual toca regularmente na banda Nancy (www.myspace.com/lixorama , Brasília-DF). Também Participou de várias bandas de metal do DF , onde aprendeu seus métodos 'de-composição' . Tecnologia obsoleta, elementos acústicos e projeções visuais formam esta salada peculiar que baixou sobre Brasília. Também é co-fundador do selo coletivo www.chippanze.org, onde se encontram atualizações sobre esta nova tendência no Brasil, denominada Chipmusic/ Chiptune ou videogame music. Com lançamentos nacionais e internacionais, vídeos, fotos, entrevistas... Além da performance ao vivo, também oferece oficinas para produção de música eletrônica em 8bit, utilizando tecnologia obsoleta em hardware e software... - ENGLISH - Nintendo musical nightmare. Droid-ON is a Brasilian chipmusic project, based on the low-tech production, inspired by the jungle wilderness and the videogame scrap. bad trip entertaimment for all kinds. the project started in August 2008, i know it looks like a solo work, but there are some great artists watching my back here. I spent my whole childhood testing the BGM and FX from the games, most of them had that screen option! i've played with a bunch of metal bands (|,,|) and currently i'm the active drummer of the band Nancy (not metal). so get ready for some organic rock emulation made with shity-tech! .... ..
