Dr Zachary Smith

About me:

I of course hardly need to introduce myself, being such an eminent and well-respected man of Science. But sad to relate, I now find myself in far from ideal circumstances, and my illustrious career is at somewhat of a crossroads, due to the fact that I am marooned on this godforsaken planet, with those rambunctious Robinsons, who are most unsympathetic to my plight. On a daily basis I have to face such trials of both physical and mental nature, which are most terribly draining and stressful. A man of my great public stature should not have to face such dreadful ordeals, yet here I am, stranded, far from home, living day to day on this brutal piece of rock, where dangers lurk at every corner. I long to return to Earth and to my very important research, but I cannot see any prospect of that any time soon. So I am resigned to endure. I am undertaking to compile a journal of my experiences, in the hope that somebody from Earth might chance to read it, and thus be able to effect a bold rescue for me. Ohh, the pain, the pain, I can hardly bear it! Woe is me!
