About me:

DJ Elle is a sound siren; dropping sexy genius beats on unsuspecting crowds that keep moving from dusk to dawn. Drawn to the cross-fader by her love of blended music and the desire to share her impeccable taste with the carousing masses, Elle (pronounced "el") began learning her craft back in 1998 mastering the intricacies of mixing by blending Hip Hop and Drum & Bass. Elle is primarily self-taught and credits practicing with other DJs as her most valuable experience. A versatile performer, she is comfortable spinning for both underground and mainstream crowds; Elle remains most focused on getting the party popping. The parties, clubs and crowds are plentiful; Elle has performed extensively in NYC and Miami where she’s had the chance to open for such notables as DJ Premier, Stretch Armstrong and Just Blaze. She is a permanent fixture on the private party scene, Elle has rocked events for fashion, music and celebrity clients including Nike, Vans, Jive Records, Howard Stern, NARS Cosmetics, Baby Phat, LRG, Complex Magazine & Married to the Mob to name a few. Branding herself as a staple on the mixtape scene allowed Elle’s audience to experience her outside of the club. Hands down, Elle has been recognized by colleagues and fans as one of the best to do it and was consistently nominated in the "Best Female Mixtape DJ” category at award shows. Her mixtapes are now being produced digitally and her podcast is highly rated with over 25,000 subscribers. Perfect synergy; recently she has worked with some premiere fashion brands to create unique mixtapes for distribution with product at events therefore increasing the already strong connection between the premium DJ and Brands. Whether in NYC or Miami, Elle continues to wow the crowds. In the past month she spun the Spring 2010 House of Jackie Brown Collection Show in NYC and was chosen to be the headlining DJ at the Grand Reopening of Miami’s original club B.E.D. She is also working on a special mixtape with a hot label slated to drop in Summer 2010.
