Born in the Parisian suburb to Caribbean parents, Danaë picked up his first guitar at age 15 beginning the journey of a globe-trotting musician who would one day share the stage with Harry Belafonte, Neneh et Eagle Eye Cherry, Peter Gabriel, Gilberto Gil, Laurent Voulzy, Youssou N' Dour, Ayo… and has recorded, co-written or sung duets with the likes of Souad Massi, Yael Naïm, Pierpoljak, Orlando Morais, the Sugarbabes, Asa and Morcheeba... Signed to Sony Music Publishing as a song writer, Danaë's blend of Creole, West African, and Delta Blues made him, for the ten years that he lived in London, an «in demand» musician… His acclaimed debut album ,London>Paris, intimate and folky, was a snapshot of his life in England. Today,with his new project Danae is back to his roots. A lifetime of experience and musicianship comes together drawing from the musical traditions of Mississippi, Mali and the Caribbean... .. ________________________________________________________________ .. Danaë, chanteur songwriter globe- trotteur, touche sa première guitare à l'âge de 15 ans dans sa banlieue parisienne natale. Depuis, il partage la scène avec Harry Belafonte, Neneh et Eagle Eye Cherry, Peter Gabriel, Gilberto Gil, Laurent Voulzy, Youssou N' Dour, Ayo… et enregistre co-écrit ou chante en duo avec entre autres Souad Massi, Yaël Naïm, Pierpoljak, Orlando Morais, the Sugarbabes, Asa et Morcheeba... Il signe chez Sony Music Publishing et très vite, son empreinte unique, Caraïbe, Afrique, Rock, Delta blues, fait de lui un musicien incontournable, durant ces dix années passées à Londres… Apres un superbe premier album, folk intimiste, temoignage de ses annees anglaises, LONDON>PARIS Danae retrouve ses racines dans ce nouveau projet melant avec grace Delta blues et Gwoka… Un fantastique cabotage entre Pointe a pitre et le delta du Mississippi... .
