    If your music rocks, your fans will get it! This is the true contest for the real music world. To get a vote your fans must download your songs! Are you up for the challenge? The College Music Awards® is an international contest for artists or bands of any musical genre throughout the world. Only performers who are enrolled in an accreditted college are eligible to participate. The contest is conducted in partnership with the record label EMC MUSIC™. All participants that get more than 1000 votes will be immediately eligible for a contract with the EMC MUSIC™ for worldwide promotion of their single. The 5 finalists will perform at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida and will be eligible to sign an artistic contract for the release of an album, including CD press, worldwide physical and digital distribution and a heavy marketing campaign. What if you have a chance to sign for a record deal in a crucial phonographic industry boom? That is what this festival is all about, no matter how long have you been performing, now it is time to step up and consolidate your career. Once you are at this contest, your music will be distributed, published and promoted all over the world throughout the EMC Entertainment, which will set up every single artist/band within their company with an unique pre-contract. Thereafter, they will choose couple bands/artists to sign in an awesome deal to be released for a massive audience worldwide.

    Contest procedures: The College Music Awards has a huge marketing appeal as we gather the best artists and bands among the young crowds in colleges throughout the world. We target the new generation of consumers and opinion makers. The contest enable an enourmous network through music interaction between artists and fans of different cultures in the same sphere. We will generate a worldwide campaign to promote your music and generate sales via download of songs in mp3 format in our virtual store (can be sync with your myspace) in which each download will be accounted as a vote and you will receive the highest royalties ever. If you reach 1,000 votes the EMC Entertainment will offer a customized contract for worldwide promotion of your band. The EMC Entertainment has no agenda, if your songs are commercially suitable, you will get a contract. The 5 contest winners will be elected based on the number of downloads/votes of the songs between October 1st, 2010 and April 1st, 2011. The results will be available on April 10th, 2011 and the first 5 artists/bands will be invited to perform in the Finals, which will be held at the House of Blues (date and location might change) in Orlando, Florida on May 14th, 2011. The EMC Entertainment might elect some artists/bands for a full artistic contract and new album release as disposed in the pre-agreement.
