So, you want to grace the Cherry Blossom Dog Netlabel with your fantastic 1,087 track breakcore/noise/grunge release? Hold on, bucko! Let me lay down the guidelines for releasing:.... 1.Proper ID3 tags are crucial and surprisingly easy. I will repair ID3 tags if necessary, but if they are wrong, it is the artists responsibility to contact me and let me know. I cannot know everything, though I am pretty damn close to it... 2.If you honestly don't know how to ID3 Tag properly, send me a text document with the following(actually, send one anyways with a brief review of the CD to help in the description): Artist/s name/s, Track Numbers, Song Titles, CD name, Genre.. 3.The higher the kbs, the better the quality. MP3 128kbs is the best format, but I won't judge... 4.Tell me when you want the item released. If you don't, I will assume you want it out immediately, and it will be released immediately... 5.Expect lot's of e-mails and messages from me during the process of releasing your album, and send me some as well. i cannot stand it when a label ignores the artist it is working with... 6.I promote you. I expect a slight bit of work done for your OWN DAMN ALBUM! If I feel I am doing more than my fair share, i may not work with you again... 7.Don't feel bad if I don't release your music. It's not necessarily that you're bad, or even that I didn't enjoy those 12 minutes of speaker killing distortion. I just release what i want, when I want; sometimes this includes everything, sometimes it's very exclusive...depends on the mood I'm in... 8.This is in no way an exclusive agreement. Feel free to release on any label you wish, as it will allow you to promote yourself better... 9.Don't bitch if people don't download your epic br00talness within the first ten minutes.
