Her passion for and commitment to the environment and the welfare of it's creatures has allowed her to work on projects that go beyond pure Illustration work.

She has spent time in Indonesia working with the Orangutan Foundation International as a documentarian and enrichment volunteer for orphaned orangutans and sun bears. Most recently, she has traveled to Bogotá, Colombia as part of Designmatters' Safe Agua team. The team hopes to improve the quality of living for the community of Altos del Pino.
