  • MYSPACE MESSAGES / THE OFFICIAL BLOG HERE

    hey, guys...

    myspace was such a big help to me when my career got started, but in the last year, it seems like things are getting cluttered here. i get 100 junk messages for every message from an actual person, so if it takes a little time for me to get to your note, i apologize. with the new record out and touring just starting, i'm working a lot, and it gets harder to sit for over an hour and sift through junk mail to get to a real message. but i'll get to it. promise.  it means a lot when people share their time and thoughts here, and i will never forget that.

    also, i'll still post status updates and tour dates here, but my official TUMBLR blog is accessible now at http://www.carybrothers.com - that's where i'll be putting my thoughts and news. come stop by sometime.

  • SUMMER TOUR DATES!!!


    As promised, here are my Summer tour dates. I'll be co-headlining on most of these dates with my buddy Greg Laswell, and we have the great Harper Blynn opening the shows. It's gonna to be a fun summer with the fellas, and I'm getting to hit a lot of towns I've never been to before. Also, we're trying to keep ticket prices under $15 and as low as $10 in some places so you're getting bang for your buck. You can order tickets and get posters below (feel free to plaster your town with them :) 
    This is just the first leg of my 2010 U.S. Tour. If your town isn't on this list, don't you worry - I'm going to be back on the road this fall to hit all the cities we're not going to this time around.  With the record and the road, I'm just getting started.

    hey, everybody...

    yeah, as you can see, i got a haircut.  the longhair thing just needed to go.  new year, new songs, new chop.  i hope everyone is having a great month.  i just got back to my apartment after a 22-hour van road trip from the SXSW music festival in austin, texas.  i had such a great time with the band, and i am exhausted.  it was amazing to play the new tunes and get such a great response (and some record deal offers outside of the US, which is amazing).  i couldn't be more proud of the new stuff.  now before i sit down to finish the treatment for the new video (and sleep for a day)...

    1 / NEW SINGLE "GHOST TOWN" ON iTUNES TODAY & PRE-ORDER NEW RECORD - it's finally happening.  new tunes on my own label!  it starts today.  you can go here right now to get the new single "ghost town" and leave nice reviews (if you're so inclined hint hint).
     
    also, the new record "under control" is already available for pre-order on itunes (a special version with bonus tracks) here and amazon here.  it's officially hits the streets april 6th.

     3 / RADIO HELP - starting today, the single "ghost town" is out to radio stations around the US.  please call/email your favorite stations and request the song.  since i bought my way out of my record deal and am back to doing all of this independently, every little bit helps.
    4 / LA RECORD RELEASE SHOW - if you're in the LA area, mark your calendars - my record release party is at my home base the hotel cafe on friday night, april 9th.  i'm gonna have some good friends playing before and after me, and it'll just be a fun party.  come on out...
    ok. time to crash for a bit and then get back to work.  so much to do before the new record comes out.
