REIは東京に生まれ香港で育ちブラジル仕込み
ブラジル伝統格闘技CAPOEIRA(カポエイラ)を追求、十余年。
常識や既成概念を一蹴..。
"神風カポエイラ"、新・日本人REIが現代の世の中を斬る。
決して途切れない魂の叫び、 前人未到の"CAPOEIRAP"がすべてを覆す。
今、新しい音楽がここに！


born in Tokyo, grew up in HongKong.
REI started playing the piano and keyboard when he was 14 years old.
After returning to Japan, REI began to compose his own music, mainly based on his favorite classical, ambient, techno, trance and other music.
But one day, while preparing for an exam late at night,
REI happened to watch the movie named "Only the Strong".
That was the very first moment he ever saw CAPOEIRA. It blew his mind!
"CAPOEIRA" is a dance-like Brazilian martial art, created by African slaves 400 years ago.
While studying law at university, REI immersed himself deeply into CAPOEIRA.
Sometimes training was very hard, but it was always fun.
REI also started to be curious about Brazil herself.He studied Portuguese by himself and listened to Brazilian music and rhythm that made him go wild...
After graduating, REI roamed all over the world, going to Australia, Europe, Brazil and the U.S.A. He was searching for his own musical style.

Afterwards, REI found the answer.
It was "CAPOEIRAP".
REI combined everything he wanted, mixed up everything he wanted to express--usually composing on the piano and arranging with Cubase. He also writes his own lyrics and performs on the microphone. But most important is his own style, "CAPOEIRAP", the massive art of RAP combined with CAPOEIRA performance at the same time.
Sounds of the berimbau...and melodies of the piano...between tradition and evolution...
the spirit of "ORDEM E PROGRESSO" .


REI has an Instructor Belt in CAPOEIRA.
Now he's exploring something new and expanding his territories ,as an artist ,composer and rapper,ofcourse never neglecting the training of traditional CAPOEIRA as well.

"CAPOEIRAP" is a new way of Life and Freedom.
