What a lazy sod I am. I haven't written a blog since I came home from LA. Well - this summer has been great. Me and my wife spent three sunny weeks in Malta, Sicily and Italy - and saw a lot of interesting and beautiful places. In short I will post a few pics from the tour. I have also had a long break from making music. I really needed it. To write songs, it's important for me to have inspiration. Which really means that you really WANT to write a song. It comes from inside, you know. And for while I did not fell like writing. But it's all coming back now - and I know that I will write some good tunes again. My norwegian album is now ready and will be released before Christmas. And I am going to start working on my english album again too. 4 of the song are almost finished . The rest of the songs have to be recorded now. Looking forward to start on that.

Hello my friends. I have just come home from Los Angeles, where my wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding day. And I must say I fell in love with that town. It has got everything. Nice weather, beaches, entertainment, down town, mountains,..... We stayed at Hilton in Long Beach - and Long Beach - especially the pier was very nice. We also liked Santa Monica a lot. We visited Disneyland, Universal Studios - and surely Holywood - Beverly Hills and Bel Air. ( We even met Jack Nicholson, which was cool.) We rented a car for 14 days so we drove a lot around as well. One day we drove to Santa Barbara, another day we drove to Palm Springs - and we spent to days in Las Vegas , where we saw the Beatles show LOVE performed by Cirque De Soleil. A very nice thing that happened was that our son came to visit us there for 5 days. He lives in England, and we live in Norway - so we don`t see him a lot.
We had a great time, and I long back there already. And if you ask me where I wanna live when I retire: Huntington Harbour, LA. (Look it up on the internet, it's really beautiful).

When you live in a country like Norway you are so hungry for the sun and the summer. We had a lovely month of may, but june has been a little grey and rainy - And soon it's time to go on vacation. I am going by car through Denmark, Germany, Luxemburg, France, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria - and back again through Germany and Denmark. At least that's the plan. Weather and other things can change the plan. We are gonna take one day at the time - and we will be in no hurry.
I really need some time off to charge my creative batteries. I have got 6 new songs , and I need to write some words to them. Hope to do that during my time off.
So for all of you going on vacation soon: Enjoy! And for all you other guys: Take care - be good, and treat yourself with respect.

Well....you are not the only one being lazy or not in the mood because I had that kinda feeling too sometimes. Good to hear about your album's info.....hope it will be out by 2009.
I still listen to your previous album on and off . May be I will get your Norwegian version album as well.... i'll think abt that!
