I'm a Movie Blogger living in Los Angeles with a love of mindless, blockbuster movies. Originally from New York, I've been in journalism for the better part of a decade winning Associated Press awards for my writing while working in newspapers, online and at magazines such as Premiere and Entertainment Weekly.Who I'd like to meet:

I'm interested in a bit of everything but, if we're being honest here, I'm most interested in sports and movies. If I'm not watching football all day on Sunday or pouring over my fantasy baseball team, I'm at the theater. I see well over 100 movies a year in a theater (that's at least two a week for you mathleates out there) and have know that I wanted to write about movies since I was in second grade. So, basically, I'm living the dream.Music
Growing up, my father exposed me to a steady diet of old school pop music so that has sort of informed my tastes growing up. I don't go too deep. I like Kanye West, John Mayer, Barenaked Ladies, Fall Out Boy, Jay-Z, Eminem, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Beastie Boys, Dave Matthews, Guns N Roses. You know, very very eclectic but Top 40 centric.Movies
How much time do you have? My favorite movie of all time is Swingers, but Star Wars influenced me growing up as did the works of Spielberg, Kubrick, Tarantino, Scorsese and more. I love the 80s classics like Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and Goonies. Some of my favorite directors out there now are Paul Thomas Anderson, Edgar Wright and Wes Anderson and I'll rarely say no to a Michael Bay movie. I literally could go on and on here, so I'm just going to stop.Television
