    The inception of Beyond Contamination arose from long standing admiration for the classic approach to many of the '70's Italian horror/exploitation and '80s horror/sci-fi films by members Hailey Nguyen (keyboard, effects) and Jayson (percussion). Hailey has been a die hard horror fan for most of her life, and one of her dream projects was to form a collection of songs that were in the vein of the soundtracks and scores of these type of horror films, with inspiration from such musicians as Goblin and the likes. The catalyst of sorts for this project began with a piano composition that accurately reflected the sound and feel of the aforementioned genres, with strong tendencies toward the Italian zombie subgenre. The intentions of the two members were to capture not only the sound and production of said styles, but also to genuinely capture the mood that the songs would portray, had they been accompanying an actual scene...hence the titles. In the near future, Beyond Contamination plan to re-record the available songs as well as newer ones, with the possible inclusion of bass, guitar, additional effects, etc. .. .. .. .. ......
