Bio:

Ashwin is a New Zealand born song-writer, rapper and record producer. Growing up through out the late 90's and early 2000's, Ashwin was inspired not by the current artists of his time but by the artists prior to his generation. Such as the likes of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. Exposed to this type of music by his older brother, Ashwin started writing rap songs at the tender age of 14. Though at the time, this was just a way for Ashwin to express himself, it soon became something he wanted to pursue as a career. Writing, recording and producing his own songs, Ashwin set himself apart from other artists, rapping about everyday things people from all walks of life could relate to and experiences most of us have had. After receiving positive responses from his peers and the public in general, Ashwin was determined to get his music out to the world. Now 19, Ashwin is not deterred by the conformity's of mainstream media, he is doing songs the way he wants, and as a result is establishing himself as a fresh, new artist.
