Archanteron

C'est en 1996, à leur rentrée des classes en CE1 que Alex Van Maiden et Karl Vador firent connaissance, passant leur jeunesse entre des parties de foot endiablées avec 12 équipes sur la moitié de terrain de foot de leur école, des batailles de cartes Pokemon ou de Pogs et autres activités champêtres.

Ce n'est que 13 ans plus tard que nos chers compères eurent l'idée de former un groupe. Ils recrutèrent pour cela un batteur, Hell Battor, dans leur amphi et un couple de jeunes mariés K.K.Rolline, son micro enflammé à la main, et Vince Solo, docteur es-guitare !

Le groupe de 5 musiciens commençait dès-lors à prendre tournure et de bonnes idées se mirent en place.

Depuis ce jour, le groupe entreprend de créer toutes sortes de nouvelles chansons Heavy Metal ou Hard Rock; en s'efforçant de ne pas tomber dans un style trop "bourrin" pour ne pas choquer certaines oreilles encore vierges de toute mélodie Metal ou Hard.

Les membres du groupe sont tous tombés durant leur enfance dans la marmite de la musique: Alex Van Maiden a une formation de pianiste; Hell Battor frappait sur sa batterie avant même de tenir son hochet; Karl Vador a troqué son biberon contre une clarinette; K.K.Rolline a vu la chute du mur de Berlin avec un micro et Vince Solo une guitare dans les mains.

Vous vous demandez sans doute pourquoi "Archanteron"???? On attend vos explications avec impatience !!!

Alex Van Maiden and Karl Vador got to know each other in 1996 while in primary school. As they were 7, they used to play football and swap Pokemon cards, just like any other normal kids.

Thirteen years later, as they were both studying biology at the university of Toulon, their interests changed and they fancied setting up a R&R band. They recruited a drummer, Hell Battor, who was sitting next to them in their lecture room. They were also joined by a just-married couple, K.K.Rolline, with her burning mic and Vince Solo, Guitar Player Master....

The group of 5 got into shape and started to share ideas and produce all sorts of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock songs. Still, they did want to specialize in any particular style and insisted on keeping a "light touch" in their music not to burst the eardrums of newcomers in the the world of Heavy Metal.

The group's members have all been wildly exposed to music since their childhood. Alex Van Maiden fell into the family piano while trying to figure out how the keys worked, Hell Battor was a drums freak even before holding his baby-bottle, Karl Vador swapped his nappies for a clarinet and K.K.Rolline saw the fall of the Berlin Wall with a microphone in the hands, Vince Solo with a guitar.

And then for the final question. What on earth does "Archanteron" mean? Well, actually, we haven't got a clue (2) and we thank you for providing explanations.
