    Anthony Michaels has been playing guitar for 21 years and teaches in his home and studio in Indianapolis. He had taught for a music store but realized it was more profitable to go solo. This same mentality surfaced in his band experience having played with a local act up until 1999 when he split off to follow his own path.Then he blazed onto the music scene in 2006 with his self-titled debut album/EP. It was instantly apparent to listeners that this was a guitar player of great intensity and technical capability, and also a musician with deep wisdom and passion for his compositions and guitar playing. His self titled debut album is an instrumental bliss of fantastic guitar work and flowing melodies that offer inspiration to guitarists everywhere. The tracks were recorded at The Hit Department, an online radio station based in Indianapolis, IN. With the assistance of Scott Rainey as producer and engineer, Anthony created a product that gained him immediate attention and acclaim with fans and professionals in the music industry resulting in interviews, radio play, endorsements, magazine ads, and even an indie record deal. The follow up CD, 2009's "Into the Light" only further solidified Anthony's reputation for heartfelt melodies, brilliant soloing and a solid commitment to composition. His style can be characterized as extremely melodic, dynamic, emotional, and flamboyant. Anthony is one of the most exciting rock players to hit the scene in years and he is clearly a guitarist that will make his mark.
