FIRST AID BOX | BOX + 4 X 7" VINYL + 6 POSTCARDS + POSTER
'First Aid Box' comes in a deluxe black velvet box, with black foil embossing on the front cover, 4 full colour picture sleeve 7"'s, poster and 6 postcards and is limited to 300 copies worldwide. Some copies ordered from Andrew Liles include a sealed syringe. The syringes have been placed randomly amongst the orders and it is down to 'luck' and luck ONLY if you get one.

The music on 'First Aid Box' utilises Mellotron sounds, bells, gongs, sound FX, piano and acoustic guitar. Although sounding little like them the tracks are influenced by the film scores of Popol Vuh and Donald Rubinstein.

'First Aid Box' is a collection of songs for an imaginary film about imaginary illnesses in a dilapidated imaginary hospital no one would want to imagine themselves going to.

Recently there have been some original drawings by Andrew added to the shop. They sold out within 24 hours without any notification going out to the wider public. New material will be added to the shop over the coming weeks and months. If you are interested please check regularly at the shop as this art will not be advertised on the mailing list or news page.

DOWNLOAD SITE
New at the download site is a collection of tracks from forthcoming releases. 'The Shape of Illusions to Come' has excerpts from 'First Aid Box', 'Schmetaling Monster of Rock' and the 'Sideways Through Time' releases. It also includes 'One Hundred' a track that is exclusive to this download.

There have also been a great many additions to the download site including some long out of print and deleted recordings and most of the 'Miscellany Deluxe' discs and an expanded version of 'A Sandwich Short'. NEW IN THE SHOP
Recently added to the shop are a lot of very rare Nurse With Wound discs, many of which are signed by Steven Stapleton. There are only a handful of discs of each release and all customers will be treated on a 'first come, first served' basis.

We also have a limited restock of 'The Flesh Creeping Gonzoid'. This box set has now almost sold out we have the last dozen or so copies.

There have also been quite a number of price reductions on both Nurse With Wound and Andrew Liles discs throughout the shop.

'From England to the United States and back again... it all started as a simple drone project between LULL (aka Mick Harris of Scorn, ex-Napalm Death), and BETA CLOUD (aka Carl Pace), based on the concept of how insomnia can effect your thought patterns. Billows of powerful bass drones set to indistinct flourishes of temporary insanity, it was released as a limited 3" CD in 2008. Now proudly presented in a deluxe digipak edition on cold spring, the original track is there, but also included is a fierce remix track by none other than legendary sound artist Andrew Liles (NURSE WITH WOUND), with stunning new packaging and artwork. Fans of Lull and Beta Cloud will really sink their teeth into this one; what Liles has created here is not a simple remix but a raging, deconstruction as only he can do.'

MONSTER
Coming in 2012 are at least two more additions to the MONSTER series.

The first is 'Schmetaling Monster of Rock' a 12 track album on vinyl only. Featuring guest vocals from M S Waldron, Maniac and Attila Csihar. This will be released by the ever supportive Dirter.

Later in 2012 will be 'Murgatroyd the Monster (A Northern Noir)'. Currently a work in progress this recording is inspired by film noir, Yorkshire and Lancashire dialect and slang and the excellent Red Riding (a television adaptation of author David Peace's Red Riding Quartet).

2012 and BEYOND
Completed over the past 18 months are a set of recordings based on concepts on the passage of time, time travel and also in part on the ideas of John von Neumann, specifically his ideas on the self-reproducing universal constructor and his lecture 'The General and Logical Theory of Automata'. As an antidote to the tongue-in-cheek, brash and often extreme 'Monster' series the 'Sideways Through Time' discs are a collection of very serious, austere, melodramatic and romantic pieces primarily constructed from piano, piano strings, gongs and cymbals.

The first of the discs 'Sideways Through Time (Illusion One)' and 'Sideways Through Time (Illusion Two)' will be released via our good friends Dirter as two separate discs on the same day. They will come in a digipack and will be limited to 500 copies.

The third in the series will be 'Fast Forward Through Time (Illusion Three)', the label and release date to this recording is as of yet to be decided.

The fourth in the series 'Reversing Through Time (Illusion Four) is yet to be recorded and will be probably be finished sometime in 2012 with a possible release date being late 2012 or early 2013.

ALEX JAKO
Andrew Liles has teamed up with Alex Jako to work on a project that will be available sometime in 2012. The project will comprise of a LP, link to a download of the audio material and a multi-paneled fold out sleeve of artwork from Alex. This is a release that we are very excited about. OUARDA (THE SUBTLE ART OF PHYLLORHODOMANCY) : THE LOST USA EDITION | CD & DVD
The 'forgotten' edition of 'Ouarda...' is still available in the shop. There are 75 copies for sale and they are signed and numbered. The music is a very slightly different mix to the version issued by Dirter and comes with a separate DVD that includes one different film and stereo mixes (not the 5.1 mixes that appeared on the dual disc version). The discs come housed in a beautiful, glossy, six-panel digipack with different artwork and booklet to that of the Dirter release. The CD disc is scented. I requested that Raash have the discs scented with the smell of roses (ouarda is Arabic for rose), and after 4 years in a box surprisingly there is still a very faint odour. If you are interested in getting hold of this rare anomaly please go to the shop.

BACK IN STOCK DUE TO DEMAND:
Back in stock due to popular demand is the 'I DON'T GIVE A FUCK... I'M A MONSTER' glow in the dark silicone wristband. We have also added a new design 'WHO GIVES A SHIT.. I'M A MONSTER'. The wristbands have been confiscated at schools and caused general 'up-set' wherever worn. Show the world your general disillusion and despondency with cynical Andrew Liles sanctioned 'charity' wrist wear.

Still available and SOLD OUT everywhere else is the Voice of the Seven Thunders LP. 'The Blue Comet Mixes' is a remix album by Andrew Liles.

The LP comes in a uniquely designed sleeve that can be best described as an inverted gatefold sleeve that opens from the centre. The album is limited to 300 copies and AndrewLiles.com has a limited supply.
