Catherine Coulter and Andrew Robinson formed their Flute and Guitar Duo, “Alma Nueva” while studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Alma Nueva (“New Soul”) has made an impressive and immediate impact throughout Scotland after being accepted onto the “Live Music Now” scheme. They perform with great energy and enthusiasm and are becoming recognised as one of the most exciting and individual young ensembles in the UK today bringing new life to music. Alma Nueva have performed at the Kyles of Bute, Perth, Kelso, Dumfries and Falkirk Music Societies, have toured Yorkshire, performing at Special Needs Schools throughout the County and have been asked to represent Live Music Now on a tour to Poland this October.
