Hey everyone I'm a songwriter & record producer and I'm in a band called OneRepublic. I love to make music, I love to play music. I love to listen to music. I try to write the best songs I can whenever I can, wherever I can...sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail trying. I love the challenge of it, I love when an audience or a person connects with something I've written in any way, shape or form....that's what gets me up in the morning. I've been in some state of succeeding or failing in the music industry since I was plucked out of a promising bus-boy gig at Joe's Crab Shack circa 2000 by a producer in Nashville. I tried the solo-artist thing for a cpl years, didn't like it, got signed, got dropped, then decided to get back w/ the only person I'd ever been in a band with and start OneRepublic. Summer 2003 we moved as a band from Colorado to LA, got signed, got dropped again, 1 month later became the top unsigned act on MySpace....and got signed for "hopefully" the last time. Finally- that label let us put out an album. It did well enough that we got to put out another...and now here we are!!! When I'm not with the band doing some gig in some city somewhere I'm either in a studio in a random city or porta-studio on a tour bus or w/ my wife in Colorado. I like Thursdays, anyone that quotes the Goonies, Crystal Pepsi, and that feeling of subtle superiority you get when you see someone that has a terrible sunburn....and you don't. For insanely "accurate" & superfluous stats and figures: wikipedia Artists I am currently working with: The Dan Band, Gwar, Tevin Campbell, anyone on the New Jack City soundtrack.
