 Some one once asked:
"Who would you like to be?"

I thought for days before I answered:
"Simply… me"

Year after year...tear after tear...I learnt
the way it should be...
Maybe I shouldn't be purely me...

I need a little of this and a touch of that
to cope with life  from where I'm at 
I need to learn about water and how it flows
without much resistance…how it goes where it needs to go
or the blade of grass...
with so much elegance and ease  bends with the breeze...
and yet the mighty oak...didn't learn to bend...broke

I have changed my mind....I want to be
fluid and flowing like the water...so inject a little aqua in me 

If I come across stubborn like a mule...
Give me my satchel of books...send me back to school

I want  to be courageous but I also want to be
Absolute Humility
Like a blade of grass...
listening always...to things that quickly pass...
Learn to bend...learn to flow….
Be like water...and go where ever you need to be...go.
